I use this cooler when my husband and I go to the local race track. I add just a little ice and the tea stays super cold all day, even in the heat of summer. It is large enough to keep several people’s thirst quenched. The lid seals really well preventing leaks, and the spout is easy to use and also drip-free. Great product!

Bought a bunch of them.Old style leaked. Got a free new style and bought

a few more new style. They also leak New gasket no help and also leaks at spout. I now drilled a hole and use a straw

I got this for my hubby for work..but disappointed because it seems too top heavy. I don’t trust it to just sit on a counter..it’s almost as if you can only have it in a cupholder, or else it will fall over. I have one in green and one in pink.

You can always find the Canadians on vacation in Mexico, Jamaica, etc. They all carry their Bubba Kegs! : ) This is the perfect size..no need to go with the BIG BIG Bubba. Fits great in a suitcase, or just walking around the neighbourhood. It kept ice for quite a few hours!

We are on our second BeerTender. Neat idea that is more of a novelty item than a practical one.

Here is the problem: The plastics design.

The areas that open and close for both the keg and the tap are made of plastic attached to metal. Our second BeerTender has just broken at the hinge to the tap.

The previous unit broke at the plastic latch to close the top of the Beertender onto the keg. Until Krups solves the issues I would recommend looking at some other products like this or recognizing that you must be very cautious in opening and closing any plastic hinge points.

The rest of the unit works great! The support was excellent for the first failed unit they sent us a new one, but how often do I want to return units for a new one. Never for this design, but in the future who knows?

If the stress areas that are made of plastic are redesigned or made of metal and they charge an extra $20 per unit to do this it will be a great novelty beer-serving unit, we loved that part of it.

You would think with the stainless on the outside it would be sainless on the inside. No. It is a softish black plastic that imparts flavor to coffee and absorbs flavors to transmit them to the next drink. So if on vacation and you want your coffee in this in the AM and a beer in the PM, expect coffee flavored beer. It is too big around to fit into any drink holder that I’ve ever seen, I mean it is about as big around as a litre size soda bottle. On the plus side it doesn’t leak and it does a fair thermos job of keeping things hot or cold.
